Nice, Quiet And Affordable

stayed here 5 days, close to centre, breakfast included was super! owners kind and helpfull. Pvt parking at back, only bathroom at hallway but very clean, and for a price you can't complain...

A Great Place To Stay

room was laid out well and comfortable, lovely and warm, was facilities were great.
landlady was very nice, courteous and helpful.
After a long day at the castle, when asked about a take away number, she gave us a curry house number, was not offended when we asked to eat in our room, and was wonderfully obliging with some crockery and cutlery!
breakfast was delicious in a comfortable and functional dining room.
a highly recomended venue.
i will stay again if in the area.

Good Base For Dover

Very near to city center and all the attractions in Dover (for driving anyway, walking I think Dover Castle is the only attraction in the city.)

Room is good. Breakfast was fair. Good value.

Cheap And Chearful

Very accomadating couple running this B&B, we needed an early breakfast and we got it, couldn't ask for any more really. The bed was comfy and warm and the room was clean and tidy.

Comfortable Place To Staqy

Just spent 5 days at Longfields. It is a very comfortable place to stay. Rooms are clean, hosts where more than accomidating. The price was good and I got what I paid for. I definately would go there again if I was in the area

One Night Stopover For Bikers

Myself and a friend needed a bed for one night on our way to france on a Motorcycling trip. If I need a stopover in Dover I would come back here.It is clean and cheap,plus we got two single rooms. This is good when your mate snores like a wild bore!!. thank you

Very welcoming and friendly. Very clean rooms and bathrooms. Breakfast (we had a Continental) was good and enough and I specially liked the "Family" athmosphere. I' ll come again ,because its worth it! Next Time I'll take my Kids, too. I'll recomend that B&B to ma friends.

French Business Trip

As a faily regular visitor to France from the East Midlands, its good to know there is a welcoming and clean B&B with secure parking that I can use for an overnight stop. Breakfast good too - kept hunger at bay until well into France.

Single Room

I booked a single room, no ensuite with no breakfast and got exactly that. The room was clean and tidy with tea / coffee making facilities and a TV. The B&B was clean, the lady I spoke to on the night was pleasant and the car park was locked and secure at 11.15pm, an added bonus.
I would definitely use again. Thank you very much.

Longfield Guest House

I, with three other friends stayed at Longfield Guest House for one night prior to departure on a cruise. We all found the proprietors very friendly and helpful, the accommodation clean and comfortable and the breakfast plentiful and yummy. It was certainly value for money.

Easter Thursday

I chose the Longfield Guest House primarily for the secure parking for my motorbike. The price for a single room is good value and the traditional fried breakfast kept hunger at bay well into the afternoon.

The price reflects the use of shared bathrooms. Bathrooms were clean.

The Longfield is convienient for walking into the centre of Dover and close to the ferries.

Staff were friendly and helpful.

I will certainly book the Longfield when next staying in Dover.
